Each year, hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists head toward what many feel is the motorcycling mecca of the world, Sturgis, and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota takes place this year August 9-15.

Ducati launch the 848 EVO
Ducati have given the 848 a boost with the launch of the EVO. The “EVO” treatment applied to the 848 introduces a 6hp power boost to 140hp (103kW) and a torque increase to 72.3lb-ft (98Nm)

The new Peugeot Tweet 125
Peugeot have launched the new Peugeot Tweet 125 scooter.
Bizzare name for a scooter!!
It has 16-inch wheels, 33mm telescopic front forks and an adjustable rear shock absorber, a wheelbase of 1385mm and a kerb weight of 109kg, 226mm disc brakes and hydraulic calipers at the front and rear.
The Tweet has a 125cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine and CVT automatic transmissio, a slim and low seat - just 800mm, fold-out foot pegs and chunky grab rails. A spacious underseat storage bay and handy luggage rack are also provided for all those daily essentials.

Yamaha Recalls 2009 VMX17 for Electrical Problem
Yamaha is recalling certain model year 2009 VMX17 motorcycles manufactured from June 2008 through March 2009.
There could be excessive electrical resistance in the ground wire from the Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) and the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) due to an insufficiently crimped connection.
700 units are affected.

BMW Recalls 2005-2009 R1200RT Police Bike for Faulty Signaling Device Bracket
BMW is recalling certain 2005 through 2009 R 1200 RT police motorcycles manufactured from April 2005 through September 2009.
The bracket which supports the audible signaling device can break, possibly allowing the signaling device to fall from the vehicle and into the roadway.
1900 units are affected.

Harley-Davidson Recalls 2010 FXDF for Fork Spring Problem
Harley-Davidson is recalling certain model year 2010 FXDF motorcycles with fork leg assemblies (lH P/N 48622-08, RH P/N 48623-08) manufactured from February 29 through February 9, 2010. (Editor's Note: These dates are assumed incorrect.)
These fork leg assemblies may have been incorrectly assembled using the wrong springs.

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2009 EX650C9F/Fl and model year 2010 EX650CAF/Fl Ninja 650 motorcycles.
The right rear portion of the lower cowling can interfere with the operator's foot while in the process of applying the rear brake.

Royal Enfield prepares for battle!
Well not literally, but for 2010 Royal Enfield UK is offering the Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 in Battle Green colour, in tribute to the manufacturer's long association with the Indian Army dating back to 1949. The bodywork, frame and wheel rims are painted in matt green.
So if you like your Royal Enfield in battle fatigues, this could be the Battle Green Royal Enfield Bullet Classic 500 for you.

Kawasaki is recalling certain model year 2010 ZR1000DAF/L models.
Under severe riding conditions the left front brake hose may contact the front brake rotor during extremely heavy application of the front brake.
